To be eligible to vote absentee-by-mail, you must submit your application by Thursday, October 22. If your county election office does not receive your application on this date by 11:59pm, you are not eligible to vote absentee-by-mail in November’s election. To submit your application you can:

๐จDownload and print the application at https://indianavoters.in.gov/MVPHome/PrintDocuments. If you print an application you must hand sign your application, a digital application will not be accepted.

Early voting is scheduled to begin Tuesday, October 6. Traditionally, Lake County has 11 early voting locations and registered Lake County voters can visit any of the 11 sites. Due to COVID-19 we recommend contacting the county election office to verify dates, times, and locations.

Travel board is a unique opportunity for voters who are confined to their home on Election Day. Call the county election office to learn more about this opportunity. The deadline to submit an application to vote absentee-by-travel board is noon on Monday, November 2.
