Michael Puente of WBEZ Chicago fills in for Kali Rasala who is at rehearsal for an upcoming play.

Mark talks about his experience on April 27, 2018 in which he experienced a heart attack while working out at the Highland Lincoln Community Center. Dave Byers discusses the situation from a staff members perspective as well as the person who administered the AED while others staff members administered CPR.

We also discuss Music for the Heart, an event that will be held on April 27 at The Room in Highland. Proceeds from the event will help purchase additional AEDs, supplies and CPR training for the Highland Schools, Lincoln Community Center, Highland Police Department and the Highland Fire Department.
